This week on Hockey Prospect Radio is our 2024 World Junior Championship Preview in Hour 1in segment 1 and 2 with Shane Malloy and Brad Allen along with Jason Bukala, from the Pro Hockey Group and Sportsnet discussing Team USA in the first segment. Then in the second segment we will focus on the upstart team from Slovakia backstopped by Adam Gajan.
Next the focus will turn to team Czechia who surprised the hockey world in the 2023 WJC and are looking to repeat the trend of being a medal contender . In the last segment of Hour 1 we will continue to discuss the 2024 WJC and the pesky Finns with their balanced attack and defense core.
In the second hour with Shane Malloy and Brad Allen along with Jason Bukala, from the Pro Hockey Group and Sportsnet will be discussing the host team Sweden prospects and in the sixth segment the defending champions from Canada will look to bring home the gold on foreign soil.
In the seventh segment, we talk about both Latvian squad and team Germany breaking down the chances in a tough group. Lastly, we continue to talk about the 2024 World Junior Championships with team Norway that has some interesting 2024 NHL Draft eligible prospects and Switzerland who always gives teams a hard fought battle in the tournament each year.
